Meet Moo Cow. Moo Cow is my hot water bottle cover. Moo has been keeping my feet warm for over 15 years now and is still going strong. I adore my hot water bottle in winter. About half and hour before bed, moo heads to where my feet go, and I have 2 wheat bags that go further up, and without fail every night I get into a toasty warm bed.
The only down fall with a hot water bottle is I have had a few hot water scorches over the years, so prefer the kids don’t touch it. Thankfully Kobie made them both a heat bag last year which I use to warm their beds instead (and it means I don’t have to share).
I was most excited when our latest stock arrived and it contained these fabulous Hotties from Annabel Trends.
The safe alternative to a hot water bottle! No chance of leaks or burns from boiling water! Filled with a heatable/chillable silicon beads the Hotties can be used as a hot or cold pack. No fuss, no mess, no stress! Relax and unwind. Washable, removable cover. Simply pop silicon filled insert into microwave for 1 minute, put back into the soft knitted cover and cozy up for long lasting warmth
I cannot wait to try them out on the kids when it gets just that bit colder.
With the return of school just around the corner, I am not sure about you but I have started thinking that for once I may just get organised in advance. I have been googling the best deals on the supplies and am ready to go (yes I am one of those parents that always forgets to put the list in before school finishes so you just pick it up and it is all done).
We have just received a huge shipment of wonderful new stocks of sandwich and snack saks to help with your organisation. These saks are fabulous, both myself and Kobie use them for a number of uses and cannot rave about them enough. We both have had ours for a couple of years now and they are put in the washing machine regularly and they hold up fabulously.
Re-useable sandwich saks are also fantastic to reduce our waste. You can eliminate the need for glad wrap and they are more compact than plastic sandwich containers for when you don’t have room. Great to pop in your handbag with a sandwich and the waterproof lining means they stay fresh.
We even use ours to store keys and phone in when at the beach, then you don’t have to worry about drops of water getting on them. Or Kobie keeps hers in her bag with a flannel in it to help clean sticky fingers when out and about (also reducing waste of using wipes).
All stocks can now be found here: http://www.ollierose.com.au/outabout.html
Today just some beautiful nest things just because

Today as I was having a bit of a read of some party styling blogs and I just could not resist showing you this stunning Garden Dessert Table as featured on Blow Out Part – The Blog.
As an avid garden lover I dream that one day my garden could look so oh so gloriously green (hard when you live in the midwest, everything is a shade of brown/green) and my rose producing stunning blooms that I can decorate with.

Easter is fast approaching once again and I have begun the search for some chocolate alternatives for the kids as a small gift and I think I have found a few cute ones that will suffice. The kitty crayons are a definite must have in our house with a drawing toddler who just loves cats.
What do you and your family do for easter?
Its the small things mini chalkboards
It was very exciting this month to pick up our copy of Shop 4 Kids magazine and discover 3 of our items in the magazine. It is always really lovely to see things you have spent so much time creating to appear in print, especially in a magazine you really love such as we do with Shop 4 Kids.
Babushka & Baby Doll & Alphabet Giraffe Rattle
Fabulous Pat-a-cake Baby Dummy Bib
Started with a few nights of this….
Leading me to 3 finished collages of mixed media, lace, paper, paint, ink, machine stitching, doilies and fabric.
Then I consulted a very helpful fine art printer to come up with some reproduced prints that turned out better than I coudl have hoped for. The first thing I did when I got the samples is reach down and run my hands over them. They looked so much like the real thing you felt like you were going to feel the texture.
They are printed on beautiful archival quality matt paper. Three designs to choose from or get all 3 for a stunning trio to make a statement.
New to the range of boys shirts are these uber cool Puffer Fish Tshirts.
Vintage style fish image in slate grey ink on the sky blue tshirt looks really awesome, subtle but eyecatching….(ok so that is a complete oxymoron but I hope you get what I mean?).
In t-shirts size 12-18m, 18m, 2 and 4. There are also a very limited number of tank tops available too. Found in FOR BOYS.
How adorable is my little model Cooper!?

This gorgeous shot was sent in by Mel and Geoff. Geoff from Golden Orb Designs Landscape Photography, took this lovely photo of sweet Maddi. Dad Geoff and Mum Mell are putting together a fantastic lady bird themed party for her next month so the dress is for the party.
The fabric was a sheer embroidered cotton that I lined and added some trims to.
Doesn’t she look so sweet in her dress and number 5 birthday brooch?
Make sure you have a look at some of Geoff’s work as well, he takes some amazing landscape shots.
