Things for Girls
Meet Moo Cow. Moo Cow is my hot water bottle cover. Moo has been keeping my feet warm for over 15 years now and is still going strong. I adore my hot water bottle in winter. About half and hour before bed, moo heads to where my feet go, and I have 2 wheat bags that go further up, and without fail every night I get into a toasty warm bed.
The only down fall with a hot water bottle is I have had a few hot water scorches over the years, so prefer the kids don’t touch it. Thankfully Kobie made them both a heat bag last year which I use to warm their beds instead (and it means I don’t have to share).
I was most excited when our latest stock arrived and it contained these fabulous Hotties from Annabel Trends.
The safe alternative to a hot water bottle! No chance of leaks or burns from boiling water! Filled with a heatable/chillable silicon beads the Hotties can be used as a hot or cold pack. No fuss, no mess, no stress! Relax and unwind. Washable, removable cover. Simply pop silicon filled insert into microwave for 1 minute, put back into the soft knitted cover and cozy up for long lasting warmth
I cannot wait to try them out on the kids when it gets just that bit colder.
Started with a few nights of this….
Leading me to 3 finished collages of mixed media, lace, paper, paint, ink, machine stitching, doilies and fabric.
Then I consulted a very helpful fine art printer to come up with some reproduced prints that turned out better than I coudl have hoped for. The first thing I did when I got the samples is reach down and run my hands over them. They looked so much like the real thing you felt like you were going to feel the texture.
They are printed on beautiful archival quality matt paper. Three designs to choose from or get all 3 for a stunning trio to make a statement.
For the past few months I have been nagging Kobie to design a shirt for cloth nappies. After a very long process sending designs back and forth and changing our minds, 4 weeks ago the designs were finally sent off to be printed, and today I can at last reveal them.
They have come up fabulous, and I am extremely pleased with them. The first stock will be available for sale at Ollie Rose soon, however the numbers are extremely limited. But don’t worry, we will receive the remaining stocks which will be up and ready in time for the Great Cloth Nappy Hunt in March.
Normally I would say these shirts are made ethically and not in a sweatshop, but phew, making large batches of shirts with a hot heat press in my lounge room creates a sweatshop environment for me and there is nothing ethical about putting me to work like that
If you would like to nab one of the first few, send us an email at email@example.com and let us know. They will retail for $24.95 and available in blue sizes 6-12 mths, 12-18mths & 2, and pink 6-12mths & 2 (size 12-18mths is out of stock and will be available hopefully in about 4 weeks time.)
Ollie Rose has extended their hair accessory range to include these gorgeous little numbers from Please Eloise.
We have in stock a variety of styles from ponytailers, alligator clips to sweet french barrettes all in fabulous fabrics, so now there is even more for your to choose from. Keep your eyes open as we have not yet uploaded them all along with some new handmade felt clips.
